About the Artist
Art has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve explored and experimented with various art forms and have enjoyed each one. Throughout my artistic journey, I've felt the pressure to conform and to create in ways that align with societal expectations. Whether it was prioritizing realism, portraying pain and trauma, or ensuring my work had a deep, elaborate meaning, these standards often dictated what was considered ‘good art.’ Because I didn’t fit those expectations, my work wasn’t always seen as valuable. While I deeply respect these approaches and admire artists who embrace them, I didn’t want to be confined to a certain mold.
I create art because it brings me joy, and I want my art to inspire others. At one point in my journey, I doubted my creative abilities and felt discouraged. But even when I couldn’t see my own potential, the people around me never stopped believing in me, and for that, I’m forever grateful. Their belief in me gave me the strength to keep going.
Now, I create art for myself first. Not everyone will connect with my style, and that’s okay. I create art for those who do. To me, art is freedom—the freedom to create what feels right and true, without constraints. Those who appreciate my work will find it, and that’s all that matters.
